A very well-organised event
As tough and beautiful as I was wanting it to be, if not more
Really great, thank you. Would love to do again - first time last Sunday. Thank you to all helpers and organisers. Only concern was last 1k or so, where I wanted to go faster with it nearing the end, and wanting to run on the road, but having to stay on pavement, which is not great when it goes up and down and others in front. However, thank you again - really great!
Hily event with great views.
Quite a few hills and was a hot year.
Some great views along the course and plenty of water stops. While it was an open road course there were only a few cars and they all passed slowly and giving plenty of space.
While it is a wooden medal it is layered and carved out (love the bee design) so looks much better than a lot of the laser etched flimsy ones.
Tough but very enjoyable event
I don’t like events open to traffic but actually there was very little and all the vehicles I saw drove very considerately.
Nice medal and good to get a bar and water at the end.
Good event, lovely roads. Well organised. Shame that everything needs to be so spread out in terms of parking, sign on and the start but it is what it is.
Hilly, hot but lots of friendly marshals.
Hot, hilly and hard but great scenery and very friendly.
Beautiful, well organised, super supportive marshals and friendly event.
Scenic route with the challenge of some good hills.
It's always hot and sunny for the Alton 10
Brilliant well organised and friendly event!
Rural course with best views of all HRRL runs
The hills were tough, but support / marshalls were great.
Any chance that the last mile could be downhill??
Super friendly local event
Thank you!
Exalant event
A wonderful day.
I run the race as I used to work for Dan Air engineering at Lasham Airfield 41 years ago.It wasn't too far from Alton! Brought back great memories for me.
great route
Beautiful course, beautifully organised
Loved it. Great atmosphere, really friendly and the course is superb. Loads of toilets at the start area is amazing as well. If I was to improve one thing it would be to provide paper cups at the drink stations rather than plastic. As well as being more sustainable (allegedly) it’s easier to drink from paper cups on the move since you can pinch them closed. I think it was only the last water station where I had the plastic cups. Anyway, great event!
Fabulous challenging course and wonderful organisation!
Hot and Hilly
Challenging course, but highly recommend, great atmosphere, well organised.
