Join us at the stunning and iconic Grafham Water for one of the UK’s most loved middle-distance swim-bike-run events — created by triathletes, for triathletes.
The ATW Grafman has built a reputation as one of the country’s premier middle-distance races, proudly voted National Event of the Year in 2014. It has also hosted the Triathlon England Middle Distance Championships in 2015 and 2023, as well as the British Championships in 2016.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, taking on your first middle-distance challenge, or racing with friends, this event welcomes athletes of all abilities. With plenty of on-site activities and facilities, it’s also a fantastic day out for spectators and families alike.

The bike course is strictly non-drafting. The overall event cut-off time is 9 hours 30 minutes.
For athletes looking to take on the swim and bike challenge without the run, the Grafman Aquabike finishes as you return to transition after completing the bike leg.
Registration and transition opening times will be 5:30am on race morning, with an eveing-before registration option for those staying locally. All bike racking will take place on race morning.

Camping is available through Lakeview Paddock, giving you the perfect base just moments from the start line in Grafham Village.

ATW Transfer & Refund Policy
At ATW, we understand that sometimes plans change. While we do not offer refunds or transfers to another person, we provide a hassle-free event transfer option for those unable to attend their booked event. If you are unable to participate in your scheduled event for any reason—including injury, illness, pregnancy, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances—you can transfer your entry to any future ATW event. There is no proof required, we trust you!
Even better news, transfers can be made all the way up to 48 hours before your original event date.

Event Organiser
ATW was established in 2011 by James Shipley. We have now become a national events company in the UK, specialising in Running, Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathon, Cycling, Swimming and all permutation of swim-bike run events. With over 40,000 entries a year ATW has become a firm favourite amongst people who are determined to Dream, Believe and Achieve.
