This traffic-free race circuit with its own self-enclosed swim lake is the UK's No1 venue for elite triathlon competition.
This round of the Super Series is a two-stage format, with the heats taking place on Saturday afternoon/evening and the finals on Sunday morning.
In addition, all athletes will be entered to take part in a short Mixed Relay held on Sunday after the Finals. Teams for the mixed relays will be organised through regional/Brit Tri coaches.
In a change from previous years, the Saturday heats will take the form of draft-legal races.
The results from the heats will provide the seeding for the A and B (and C for the Open category) finals on Sunday morning, which will be a draft-legal, mass-start format.
Gear restrictions, where appropriate, will be applicable in both the heats and finals of the Youth races.
The distances will be as follows:
Youth A/B
Saturday Heats : 350m swim - 6km bike - 1.5km run (draft-legal, mass start)
Sunday Finals : 400m swim - 8km bike - 2.0km run (draft-legal, mass start)
Junior/Senior
Saturday Heats : 350m swim - 8km bike - 2.0km run (draft-legal, mass start)
Sunday Finals : 400m swim - 10km bike - 2.5km run (draft-legal, mass start)
Mixed Relay
Distances : 200m swim - 3.2km bike - 600m run (draft-legal, mass start, relay)
The swim will start at the far end of the lake (your swim there will be the warmup) back to the swim exit..
The transition will be in the hard-standing paddock area.
The bike will use a 2km anticlockwise lap of the super-fast bike circuit.
The race finishes with 2 laps of a flat, tarmac, out-and-back run lap .
The bike and run courses both pass the spectator area each lap to enable the athletes to receive great support.... so don't forget your cheer squad!
Course maps are available via the menu above, and full details in the athlete guide.
Registration will open from 12:30pm on Saturday, with racing starting from 2:00pm. Detailed start times will be included in the Athlete race guide.
It is estimated that the Mixed Relay will finish around 2:00pm on Sunday.
Entry for this race is open to athletes who are participating in the Super Series and have received an invite to enter by British Triathlon.
More details of how to participate are detailed here.
Camping is available on site for the Friday and Saturday nights, and can be purchased as an additional item.
Parking is available daily at Mallory Park for £3 car, £5 camper vans and minibus, £10 coaches. We strongly promote car sharing where possible. The parking fee will be collected on exit from the venue to avoid queues on arrival. Please provide cash where possible. Campers will still need to pay for parking on departure.
Overnight camping for both camper vans and tents can be purchased through the 'merchandise' menu above.
