Thank you for a great event

I really enjoyed the course – it was well shaded, which made a huge difference in the heat. The only suggestion I’d make would be to add another water station, as the one on the second lap felt a little too close to the finish. The marshals were excellent throughout, keeping everyone encouraged and on the right track. The post-race burger was very tasty too (although a slice of cheese next time wouldn’t go amiss!). Overall, a great event and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year.

Water station earlier

First time for me racing. Despite heat, it was an enjoyable, well organised event. My time, I felt was respectable, for someone who is new to running. Maybe next year I will run sub 35 mins, which in my 60th year, would be an achievement.
