Friendly inclusive race!

I like that it's limited to approx 500 people.
Really helped with adjusting the start finish line.
Can the next one be 22nd March - already booked for a race the following weekend ! (Prague/Berlin Half marathons 28/29th)

Great event and very well organised

If I was being picky, it would have been nice to have a pint glass gift rather than half a pint. Generally though a great event

Superb, friendly professionally organised event, well done!

Loved this Sunday trip out! Great, flat trails, friendly, superbly organised with lots to keep everyone interested at Siren Brewery. Ellie and her excellent team nailed it with energy and their experience, highly recommended and enjoyable thank you Barnes Fitness!

Great local event + Great Local Beer

Unlikely to PB due to a clog of people for the first 3km, but an extremely enjoyable event nonetheless! 10k Chip timing, photos, medal, beer, glass, donuts and food vendors… PBs can wait for another day!

Amazing! I thought the march 10k was good but this one was so much better! Nicer route, tents for family to wait , easier to get beer and medal after! Lovely event

A lovely friendly event, great pre race info, jolly marshals and a lovely route.

Great atmosphere both before and after at the brew house and having a glass as a souvenir is such a lovely idea!

Friendly, well organised 10km

Parking was very busy and filling up fast less than an hour to start time. We’d never run this race before and thought the industrial estate recommended parking would have lots of spaces. Not so. Perhaps make it clear spaces fill up fast and a better option would go straight to Sainsbury’s where there was a 3 hr limit. Other than this, we loved the race - flat, fast & well organised. Lovely medal & beer and glass momento were great.

Flat and fast, but a bit disappointed

I’ve recently done another brewery 10k, with different event organisers, and in comparison this one didn’t feel as good.
The route was good - nice and flat, but the kissing gates were annoying. Especially the first one as we had to wait and queue to go through it.
The beer at the end was only a half pint (other race was pint) and there was only a pale ale or low alcohol option, no lager or anything else. Disappointed as I don’t like pale ale! The guy I asked said it caused too many queues last time, but surely that just means add more staff or a second stand…
It was also teased that the medal would be beer themed, but it wasn’t.
Parking was a nightmare, there wasn’t enough spaces and it was ridiculous trying to get out at the end as everyone had just parked wherever they could.
Overall I did enjoy it, but I don’t think it was worth the money compared to the other brewery race I’ve done!

Organiser comment:

Thanks for your feedback - as always there are things we can tweak and will work on for next time. I'm intrigued where/how you were teased with a beer themed medal???

Brilliant event and loved the varied course.

Kissing gates slowed us down a little which was welcomed haha but volunteers were amazing and organisation was flawless. Beer at the end was fab! Came away feeling very happy!
