Hatch End Triathlon is an incredible event run by exceptional volunteers. I was out of my depth quite literally in the swim and the volunteers helped me battle my fear and complete my hardest personal discipline. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I will be there next year to beat my time.

The volunteers running the event are absolutely amazing. The lighten the mood, have a friendly chat and their support along the track makes this an enjoyable event. Thank you for putting on a great event

It would be better if people did not pass in the pool before the ends. Lots of times people passed on the right and left and no one tipped the feet beforehand as was stated in the briefing. Photos of the event still not posted after to weeks which is a shame.

A great introduction to triathlon

What a fantastic event out on by the Jet Stream team! Sport at its very best with people of all abilities, age and at various levels of their Triathlon journey. My son has been inspired by the fact Alex Yee competed in this very same event! It has instilled a passion for Triathlons that he has shared with his friends!

I have done this for about 7 years running and I love the atmosphere and watching all the kids competing especially. I really hope it continues for at least another 25 years.

It was our first time doing it and it wa s brilliant so a huge thank you to all the volunteers.
My only bit of feedback is the bottle neck caused by the pool.
Is there anyway that two start times can be given within the kids’ age categories to prevent them waiting in the changing rooms queuing for a 7 min swim?
My son said he was queuing right next to the toilet for a good old while.
His race only took 7 mins but he was queuing to do that 7 min race for well over 30 mins.
If you have two waves within each category, it might help prevent that long waiting time,

It was my first time participating and I did with a friend and our kids. We'll all do it again next year and we'll bring over many people from our children's school.
Absolutely welcoming atmosphere and sense of sport. I was not a very fast participant (as you can see from the results) but staff and people running were all very supportive and showed a great sense of sport. Beautiful day out. 6 stars out of 5. Next year I will bring a hole puncher with me to make a hole in the number to put it easily in my tri-belt. You are a great team . Thanks for organising. Brilliant!

I am a baptised Sikh and wear a turban as a mark of honour as well as religious reasons. The event team were super helpful in giving me an end rack space to tie my turban after the swim. My late World War II Sikh Regiment grandfather (fought in turbans) would be delighted and there with me in spirit like this! Thank you for the inclusivity shown.
