The registration was a little stressful as it was a little chaotic but a minor point

Registration is too early for the race. 90 minutes is too much waiting around and parking is much harder if everyone needs to attend earlier than required.

Would recommend to beginners a great 1st ome to do

Would be good for them to get a few more snacks along the way/after the event.

Brilliant day. Our 8 year old son wanted to give a triathlon a go after seeing an event on TV. We travelled up from Surrey for him to give it a go today. Excellent venue, great atmosphere. Such supportive and friendly marshals. Huge heart felt thank you to everyone who gave up their time to make the day such a success! See you next year!

Great local event by the local community. No real suggestions for improvements apart from making the weather slightly warmer

I was able to attend a run through of the cycle lap the week before the event, and basically learned about the whole event - tips, what to expect, etc while I was there. Great first triathlon for an absolute novice. Friendly team and marshalls on site, everybody was very supportive.

Swim can be a bit of a challenge, not sure how that can be remedied

Swim was really well organised in a decent pool. Transition really easy into the bike which is 3 laps of a short course. Bit of traffic but well managed by the Marshalls. The run was 3 laps on a field which seemed to go really quick! All in all a brilliant event for beginners or those wanting an early season race. Thank you!
