JOIN US FOR THE FRED HUGHES 10 ON SUNDAY 19th JANUARY 2025.
The Fred Hughes 10 Mile is a well established local race, organised by the St Albans Striders running club since 1985. The race is held on the rolling country lanes of Bedmond in St Albans. It’s ideal for those looking kick start their spring marathon training or make the step up from 10k.
This year, the Fred Hughes 10 also hosts the Hertfordshire Senior County Championships.

If you are local, we would encourage you to walk or cycle if possible. There are facilities at Race HQ to park bikes.
Parking
Limited Parking is available at the race HQ at St Columba’s College (AL3 4AW) – marshals will direct you on the day. There is also public pay and display parking available nearby at Westminster Lodge (AL1 2DX). This car park is a short walk from both the race HQ and the race start.
