UPDATED 9 AUGUST: We have reached medal capacity for the finale of the Summer Series on 10 August for the 5km & 10km races. However you can still enter and a charity donation will be made in place of you receiving a medal.

The summer really isn't complete at Barnes Fitness without our infamous Summer Series.    

A friendly series of 5km/10km events, now in it's 11th year,  welcoming runners of ALL abilities.

NEW FOR THE AUGUST 2023 EVENT - A KIDS 2KM FUN RUN PRIOR TO THE 5km/10km.

The course is a lovely off-road, traffic-free route around Dinton Pastures Country Park, near Reading. 5km option is a 1 lap course, 10km option you go round the course twice!! Either way, it’s pancake flat and if you enter more than one race you’ve a great chance of seeing that course record come down month by month!

Event trophies and overall series prizes for those attending;
1st/2nd/3rd Male & Female and 1st V40/50/60/70 Male/Female (based on age at start of series).

If age group winner is an overall podium winner they will receive the podium prize, and 2nd in age category will then win age group. #sharethelove

The series is accurately chip timed - your result instantly available as soon as you cross the finish line via ECT
