Join us on Sunday 23rd November 2025 for the ATW Wendover Woods Trail Run and Canicross event! Set in the stunning Wendover Woods, this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself on scenic trails surrounded by beautiful woodland.
Whether you're tackling the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon trail run or bringing your four-legged friend for the 5K Canicross, this event has something for everyone. Enjoy the fresh air, stunning views, and rewarding trails – an unforgettable way to wrap up your autumn running season.
The ATW Wendover Woods Trail & Canicross is based at the highest point in the Chilterns, and what better place to enjoy an amazing Trail Run through the beautiful local landscape with stunning views across the local countryside. The traffic free 5K route follows well-prepared trails through woodland, with the added option of taking part in the 10k or Half Marathon.
If you enjoy running with your 4-legged furry friend, then we also have a 5k Canicross, that will start 15 minutes before the main race. All dogs taking part must be wearing a suitable running harness attached to a bungee line and waist belt. (Dogs will not be accepted into the event with their leash attached to their collar)
All participants will receive a stunning custom designed medal and goodies at the finish line.
ATW Transfer & Refund Policy
At ATW, we understand that sometimes plans change. While we do not offer refunds or transfers to another person, we provide a hassle-free event transfer option for those unable to attend their booked event. If you are unable to participate in your scheduled event for any reason—including injury, illness, pregnancy, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances—you can transfer your entry to any future ATW event. There is no proof required, we trust you!
Even better news, transfers can be made all the way up to 48 hours before your original event date.

ATW was established in 2011 by James Shipley. We have now become a national events company in the UK, specialising in Running, Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathon, Cycling, Swimming and all permutation of swim-bike run events. With over 40,000 entries a year ATW has become a firm favourite amongst people who are determined to Dream, Believe and Achieve.
