The Essex Vets XC Champs will take place on Saturday 13th December and will be in Epping Forest on the corner of Ranger's Road and Forest Side (see map below for location).

We will be taking online entries only and there will be no entries on the day.  We will also be using chip timing to provide a fast results service. Results will be available HERE

ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY 7^TH DECEMBER

The race format will be the same as last year in that the women will have their own race.  Everyone will run the same course which will be 8k.  The timetable is as follows:

10:00am – Race 1 – Men V50+

10:50am – Race 2 – Women V40+

11:40am – Race 3 – Men V40

Individual medals will be awarded in 5 year age categories up to and including V70. Team medals will be awarded in 10 year age categories for V40, V50, V60 only. (4 to score per team).

The entry fee remains the same as last year at £8 per runner.

This event will be held under UKA Rules.

All athletes must be a member of England Athletics and hold a current Athlete registration and be eligible to compete for Essex (either by being born in Essex or have continually resided in Essex for the nine months prior to the event).

An entrant shall be deemed to have made himself/herself/themself, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entering the event, whether or not the participant is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK

Slower runners should note that races will start on time and therefore there is a possibility, depending on the course layout that faster runners may overtake as the next race starts.
