Saturday 8th August 2026 – Part of the ATW First To Full Triathlon Festival
The Odyssey Aquabike returns for its fourth year, and in 2026 it becomes part of something even bigger — the brand-new ATW First To Full Triathlon Festival. On Saturday 8th August, athletes will take on one of the most rewarding swim-bike challenges in the UK, racing side by side with triathletes and endurance runners in a day-long celebration of sport, endurance and community.
The Odyssey Aquabike is more than just a race. It’s a journey of self-discovery through two of the toughest disciplines in multisport, set in the stunning Cambridgeshire countryside. With both full and half-distance options, it’s your chance to conquer an epic challenge and finish with pride, all without the run.
In the Full Odyssey Aquabike, competitors begin with a 3.8km swim in the beautiful River Ouse before tackling a 180km bike through the rolling Cambridgeshire lanes. The Half Odyssey Aquabike offers the same incredible experience over a 1.9km swim and a 90km bike course, making it a perfect middle-distance challenge. Both distances are draft-illegal and designed to test both body and mind in the most rewarding way possible.
The 2026 course is built for both athletes and supporters. Cyclists will pass through Race HQ every 45km, giving friends and family multiple chances to cheer you on. When you complete your ride, you’ll be welcomed back into the vibrant festival atmosphere, where you can celebrate your achievement and join the party in the legendary “Tent of Enlightenment” while watching the triathletes finish their marathon runs.
There are no overall cut-off times for the Odyssey Aquabike, giving every competitor the chance to complete their challenge at their own pace. Race packs can be collected the day before or on the morning of the event, with bike racking available 90 minutes before the start.
The First To Full Festival ensures the whole day is alive with energy. While you’re racing, families and spectators can enjoy children’s activities at Regatta Meadow, live music, entertainment, food and drink. The festival hub and the nearby town of St Neots make this an unforgettable experience for athletes and supporters alike.
Crossing the finish line at the Odyssey Aquabike isn’t just about completing a swim and a bike — it’s about proving to yourself that you can go further than you thought possible.
