Welcome to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus 10k, 5k and Fun Run on Sunday April 19th 2026

Lace up your trainers and join us for an incredible event supporting three local charities!
Sponsored by the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC) and Prologis, this day promises fun, fitness, and fundraising for some fantastic causes.

What's on offer?

• FREE Children's 1 Mile Fun Run: Perfect for our younger runners to show their spirit!
• 10k or 5k Run: Test your mettle with this exhilarating course.
• 5k Walk: Step out and explore while contributing to a vital cause.

Taking place on a safe, traffic-free, closed-road 3-lap course on the campus, the Children's Fun Run will create a fantastic opportunity for parents and spectators to cheer on their little champions and capture those special moments to share with friends and family. 

As for the chip-timed one-lap 5k & two-lap 10k, get ready to embark on a journey along traffic-free paths, soaking in the energetic atmosphere while making strides toward a healthier heart, all against the backdrop of the beautiful Hobson Park and the vibrant Cambridge Medical Campus.

This event isn't just about races: it's about rallying together to support the amazing Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, Royal Papworth Charity and Maggie’s. Every step and every stride helps in funding these three amaing charities.

Thanks to the generous support of the CBC, the Children's Fun Run is FREE to all particpants, the 5k/10k is FREE for Under17's, and the adult tickets for the 5k/10k have been significantly subsidised.  (NOTE: Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the Fun Run, and minimum age restrictions apply to the 5k and 10k).

Based on valuable feedback from last year’s event, we’ve made improvements to this year’s course to better accommodate participants using wheelchairs or running blades. We’ve reduced the number of repeated laps and incorporated more concrete paths into the route for a smoother experience. Please note that the paths within Hobson’s Park do have a layer of gravel, but we’re excited to offer a more accessible and enjoyable course this year!
